Winning Streak!

Kicking off 2024 in the best way possible, we are delighted to have won five industry awards for our Chefs’ Selections brand.

The 2023 Cash and Carry Management awards in association with the Craft Guild of Chefs named the following products as best in category:

• Canned products: Skipjack Tuna Chunks in Brine
• Hot beverages: Drinking Chocolate 
• Seasonal products: Mince Pie Cheesecake Tart
• Vegan: Gluten Free & Vegan Lemon & Berry Dessert
• Best Innovation Sweet: Vegan Chocolate Pecan Pie

The annual awards judge wholesaler’s own brand products across a wide range of categories, all assessed for quality and value, with blind tasting to identify the winning products.

We are delighted with the excellent feedback from the Craft Guild of Chefs’ who described our winning drinking chocolate as having a “great aroma when first made.” Our skipjack tuna was judged as having a “good flavour and good chunks of tuna.” Our mince pie cheesecake tart had “Nicely spiced light pastry. A great addition for Christmas.” Chefs’ Selections Vegan Chocolate Pecan Pie had “Plenty of pecan flavour. Good deal of filling. Very generous puree & topping.” And our Gluten Free & Vegan Lemon & Berry Dessert was  “Light and very airy. Great lemon taste.”
